Sal Rivera - Former Attorney Based in Phoenix

A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, Sal Rivera is a former lawyer who holds a BA in history from Arizona State University and a JD from the University of Chicago. During his career, Sal Rivera held numerous leadership positions on prominent state and national legal boards. Shortly after earning his JD in 1995, Mr. Rivera started his career as an associate at Fennemore-Craig.

He eventually rose to partner and represented a wide range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses. In 2010, he founded the Rivera Law Firm, where he handled complex business disputes and served as a mentor to a team of attorneys. He spoken on topics such as cybersecurity, legal ethics, and mental health for lawyers. Mr. Rivera received several awards, including the Judge Learned Hand Award for Emerging Leadership and the Arizona Minority Bar Association Community Service Award. Dedicated to community service, he co-founded the Arizona Latino Research Enterprise and serves on the board of Xicanindio Artes.
